Google Wave - Abriged - Shorter IS Better
I really like the original announcement of the Google Wave, but it's kind of hard to watch the whole thing in one sitting (it's over an hour long). It took some time, but someone was able to condense down the whole thing to around 10 min. It's still very informative, and also hits the key points about Google Wave
- It lets you combine different the work of two browsers into one.
- It's a communications, and collaboration tool
- It let's you reply to email and cut out parts of email
- Instant messaging has been revolutionized
- Can do character by character or all at once IMing
- You can pull up IM message logs even if you entered the conversation late
- You can send private messages in your IM
